JEERA COOKIES These are sweet and salty cookies, nice to have at a tea time... the taste of jeera is mouth watering... try it and taste it... Ingredients Maida - 200gms Cumin - 1tbsp crushed Egg - 1 egg yolk ( for eggless replace egg yolk with 15 ml of milk) salt - 1 tsp Sugar - 80 gms powdered Butter - 100 gms Green Chilli - 1 finely chopped Procedure Preheat Oven to 180 C and bake for 12-14 mins In a bowl mix butter, sugar, salt, egg/milk, crushed cumin seeds, green chilli and mix well. Now add maida to the above mixture. Knead to a soft dough. Roll out into a circle, give the shape as you like and bake in the oven. Store the cookies in air tight containers.
