Mushroom-Pudina ke paratha..

This is protein rich recipe.... tasty bhi and healthy bhi.... I have added mild masala to get the flavour of pudina and taste of mushroom...

Serves - 2-3
Cooking Time - 20 minutes

Ingredients

Wheat flour - 2 cups
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Oil 1/2 tsp
Knead to a smooth dough with water and keep aside for 10 mintes..

Filling
Fresh Pudina : 1 cup wash and drain water completely.
Mushroom ( Button mushrooms) : 7- 8 buttons finely chopped
Green Chilli: 2-3 finely chopped (as per spicy)
Mustard: little
Turmeric powder: 1/4 tsp
Jeera powder: 1/4 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1/4 tsp
Onion : 1 medium finely chopped
Salt to taste
Oil for drizzling.

Procedure

For filling,
1. In a pan add oil, jeera powder, turmeric, ginger garlic paste and oinons saute for two minutes and keep aside to cool down. once the mixture is cooled completely, add fresh pudina and raw chopped mushroom to the pan and mix well. Now the filling is ready.

2. Roll out 2 small puris of wheat flour of equal size.

3. Place the filling on one puri as required quantity, and place the other puri on it.seal all the ends and spread out into a round shape.
4. Drizzle the oil on a tava, cook the paratha on both side on medium heat and serve hot with tomato chutney, Mayonnaise sauce, or tomato sauce.

Note:
Do not add any masala like garam masala etc because will not get the flavour of pudina and mushroom.

For filling, do not mix mushroom and pudina to the tadka, as mushroom leaves water and pudina get burnt .
