White Cheese Pasta
This recipe i must say , a very tasty delicious and weekend lunch or dinner whatever the timings you prefer. Pasta and all veggies/Chicken and tossed in white sause with red wine....So complete recipe is as follows:
Preparation Time: 40 Mins
Ingredients:
choose vegetables of your choise 1/4th cup ( brocolli, aloo, mushrooms, beans, carrot) and if you are non veg eater you can choose 2 of any vegetables and chicken slices small (1/4 cup).
Paste any kind (prefer buckwheat paste)
Milk 2 cups
Cheese any good quality cheese (feta cheese, amul cheese)
Maida 2 tsp (mixed in 1/4 cup milk)
Salt as per taste
red wine (optional), usually prepare at home.
Garlic 1 full tsp finely chopped
Some Italian herbs (Oregano, parsley, thyme)
Olive Oil 2 tsp/Butter 2 tsp
Non stick Pan
White Sauce Preparation:
Heat 2 tsp oil/Butter in an pan (nonstick),add garlic saute till brawn and simmer the gas, Now add milk let it come to boil, add maida milk mixture slowly and saute till no lumps are formed. add cheese and mix well, now add wine and boil the mixture for some time, add herbs and keep aside.
Now boil the pasta and vegetables/chicken seperately with little salt and olive oil. Drain excess water, Add these to the above white sause and mix well (if the sause is too thick, add 1/4 cup water) bring to boil again and add salt as per the taste. drizzle some oilve oil if required and pasta is ready to serve.
Note: Do not add Maida directly to boiling milk as it forms a lumps and will give bad taste to pasta.cook
Also do not overcook vegetables.
